We believe that renting wagons should be simple. Therefore, you can also rent wagons online, and we will always deliver them to you after maintenance and functionality checks. The rental price of the wagon includes the costs of inspections and maintenance of wheelsets, which are provided by Cargo Wagon. When providing services and building mutual relationships, we also follow the rules and principles defined in our company’s Ethical Code, which you can rely on.
Properly planned maintenance is among the most effective ways to avoid failures and repairs of wagons in operation. We perform revision repairs exclusively in certified workshops. Through preventive maintenance and regular technical inspections, we increase the operational reliability of wagons. Thanks to the digitization of our fleet, you have an overview of the maintenance performed and can plan it more effectively.
All Cargo Wagon wagons have built-in GPS devices to track the location and movement of the wagons. You can view the current position and movement history of the wagon in an internet browser. The system will alert you to dangerous movements of the wagon or its entry into designated areas such as sidings, maintenance workshops, or depots.
We maintain a constant stock of wheelsets and spare parts for all wagons rented by our customers. Stocked parts are typically dispatched within five days of receiving the H/HR request according to Appendix 7 of the AVV. Our customers also have access to an extensive network of repair shops and mobile services with which we have long-term cooperation.
At Cargo Wagon, we can ensure that renting Cargo Wagon wagons is much more convenient. After the handover, we transport the wagons to the customer's siding. We provide routine and preventive maintenance on the wagons near transport routes or at the customer's sidings. In the case of deploying wagons outside the EU customs area, we are happy to arrange the customs clearance of the wagons upon rental handover and return.
